What we collect

• Account info — your name, email, and password (handled by our authentication provider, Convex Auth; we never see or store your raw password).
• Member profile — your zip code and church community, if you choose to share them. Both are optional.
• Business profile — whatever a business owner adds to their listing: business name, category, contact details, address, hours, and logo. This information is public by design — it's what makes the directory useful.
• Waitlist signups — name, email, and optionally a business name.
• Usage analytics — aggregate, anonymized traffic data via Vercel Analytics. We don't use third-party ad trackers.

How we use it

To operate the directory, connect members with businesses, send account-related email (like password resets), and understand how people use the site so we can improve it. We don't sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to run Lamplight Connect: Convex (database, authentication, file storage), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting), and Stripe (donation payment processing — Stripe handles your card details directly; we never see or store them). Each only receives what it needs to do its job.

Cookies

We use essential cookies/local storage for signing in and remembering your theme preference — no third-party advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can edit or remove your business listing at any time from your dashboard. To request a copy or deletion of your account data, email us at support@lamplightconnect.com.

We're a small, independent project — this policy may change as Lamplight Connect grows. We'll update the date above when it does.
